SUPPORT US/FUNDRAISING

The Maine Public Safety Pipe & Drum Corps is a 501c3, non-profit, all-volunteer, group dedicated to Maine’s public safety community and to promoting Scottish/Irish music, culture, and heritage through education, outreach, scholarships and performance.  We participate in school programs with the Maine Ulster-Scots Project, highland games/military tattoos, Tartan Day celebrations, and funerals/memorial services for both public safety and military personnel. Equipment and educational costs are demanding on budgets, therefore, public and private sponsorships are welcome. The cost of outfitting a piper or drummer is significant. Kilts cost $450, bagpipes $1200 to $5000, and drums run up to $750. A complete uniform for a member costs approximately $1500.

The need for public support is great. No government money is received by the Corps. The band relies on performance fees, merchandise sales, your donations, and grants to continue our growth and educational pursuits. We hope that you can support us, as we support our public safety/military personnel and the community.

PURCHASE OF MPSP&D CORPS LOGO ITEMS

All profits go toward supporting the Corps.

CORPORATE SPONSORSHIP

The Maine Public Safety Pipe & Drum Corps is seeking corporate sponsors within the business community. By helping the Corps with services, facilities, or other assistance, the Corps would help the corporate sponsor through a mutually beneficial publicity program or in other areas that can be discussed. The Corps performs at over 25 events every year, including parades, highland games/tattoos, and concerts. This exposes the Corps to thousands of people each year. This does not include the Corps’ involvement at various police and fire departmental functions.

If you or your business would like to make a donation or become a sponsor of one of the State of Maine’s premier pipe bands, please e-mail the Corps President or mail it to:
