About the Maine Public Safety Pipe and Drum Corps
Founded in 2004, the Maine Public Safety Pipe and Drum Corps is dedicated to honoring the traditions, service, and sacrifices of the public safety community through music, camaraderie, and pride.
More than just a pipe band, we are a family united by a shared commitment to tradition, honor, and service. Many of our members come from public safety backgrounds, creating a special bond built on mutual respect and an understanding of the dedication and sacrifices that come with serving others.
While we take great pride in our mission, we also believe in having fun, building lasting friendships, and sharing our love of music with the communities we serve.
Interested in joining us?
Whether you’re an experienced musician or have never picked up an instrument, we welcome those interested in learning to play the bagpipes or drums, developing their musical skills, and participating in performances, ceremonies, and community events.
Not a musician? You can still be part of our tradition by joining our Honor Guard, which proudly presents the Colors and renders honors at ceremonies and special events.
Join us in carrying forward a tradition of honor, remembrance, and community.
