Looking to hire a pipe and drum band in Maine for a parade, ceremony, or special event? The Maine Public Safety Pipe & Drum Corps provides performances for a variety of occasions throughout Maine.
The Maine Public Safety Pipe & Drum Corps proudly provides services free of charge for public safety personnel funerals and memorials. This includes both line-of-duty and non-duty-related deaths involving active or retired personnel. We also honor active-duty military personnel killed in action at no charge.
In addition, our Corps is available for parades, graduations, weddings, private parties, funerals, and other special events. You may hire the entire band, a single piper, or any combination of pipers and drummers.
For weddings, we forward single-piper requests directly to our pipers. Afterward, the customer and individual piper handle all communication, arrangements, and payment.
Performance Fees
Uniforms, instruments, travel, and operating expenses represent significant costs for our Corps. Therefore, we depend on performance fees to help cover these expenses.
Although we proudly support public safety organizations, we may charge a small fee for certain public safety and civic events. For example, these events may include academy graduations, ceremonies, and other memorial events.

The following prices provide general guidelines for our services. However, this list does not include every possible event or performance arrangement.
Hire a Pipe and Drum Band in Maine for Your Event
- Public Safety Personnel Line-of-Duty Death Funeral (Full Corps): FREE. Also includes active-duty military personnel killed in action.
- Public Safety Personnel Funeral, Current or Retired (Single Piper): FREE.
- Non-Public Safety Funeral (Single Piper or Piper/Drummer Combination): $150.00.
- Non-Public Safety Funeral (Full Corps): $400.00.
- Any Event, Including Parades (Full Corps): $600.00.
- Small Unit Events (3 Pipers and 3 Drummers): $350.00.
- Single Piper Events, Except Weddings: $150.00.
- Single Piper for Weddings: We forward requests to our individual pipers. The customer and piper then arrange pricing and other details directly.
